Your journal.
Your privacy.
Daily Nourish keeps meal records and goals in your browser’s local IndexedDB storage. There is no cloud meal database, automatic syncing, analytics, or advertising. Exported backups are saved only where you choose to put them.
Scan PIN
Your scan PIN is checked by the server before photo estimation. It is sent over HTTPS only when you request an estimate, and is cleared when the scanner closes. The app does not save your PIN in browser storage, meals or backups. No Google sign-in is used.
Photo estimates
Only when you tap Estimate macros, a resized JPEG and any portion notes pass through Cloudflare to OpenAI using the app owner’s API account. No previous meals or goals are sent. Photos and notes are not stored by the app’s server or included in backups, and app code does not log them. Image metadata is removed by re-encoding on your device. API requests set store:false; OpenAI and Cloudflare still apply their own service data-handling policies.
AI estimates are approximate; check portions and hidden ingredients before saving.
Device storage
Your browser or iOS may remove local website data. Safari and a Home Screen installation may have separate journals. Keep JSON backups in a safe location and do not clear website data as an update method.
